Health isn't just a lack of illness. Health is the optimum functioning of the body, mind, and spirit to permit us to fulfill our dreams and goals.
To help the body return to its best state, gently, I use techniques such as:
• Emotional Freedom Techniques/EFT
• CranioSacral Therapy
• Acupressure
• Allergy Elimination Technique
• SomatoEmotional Release
• Zero Balancing
• Qi Therapy/Qigong
CranioSacral Therapy & SomatoEmotional Release
The craniosacral system is comprised of the bones of the skull (cranium), the spinal column all the way down to the tailbone (sacrum), the cerebrospinal fluid, and the membranes within the brain and spinal cord.
Since our bodies are essentially self-healing, able to recover from cuts, sprains, bruises, even a broken bone, I use Upledger-based techniques to find whatever restrictions are keeping the body from healing itself and gently encourage those restrictions to release.
The body stores physical trauma in the tissues, but it also stores emotional trauma there. Sometimes a physical restriction will not release completely until any underlying emotional restriction is also released.
SomatoEmotional release is a client-directed technique for releasing, through imaging and dialoguing, whatever emotional component may be preventing healing.

Acupressure is a gentle technique used to enhance the flow of energy or Qi (pronounced "chee") in the body, helping the body activate its own recuperative abilities. Similar to but older than acupuncture, acupressure uses only light, firm pressure on various points on the meridians — no needles!
Balancing the energy flows among the brain, spinal cord, and all the organs, this process can address specific conditions as well as improve overall health and vitality.

Allergies have become a much more common problem over the past few decades. I used this technique to eliminate 95% of my allergies, freeing me to enjoy my cats, the out of doors, and generally becoming healthier.
If you don't know what you're allergic to, we can use muscle testing to see what your body and energy are reacting to and treat for that. The half-hour treatment is simple and effective, often only requiring a single treatment depending on the severity. I can also incorporate these treatments into a regular hour-long session of bodywork.
Some of my clients have eliminated their reactions to their clothing, supplements, pets, foods, and many other substances. See how good you can feel!
Zero Balancing
Zero balancing is designed to integrate body structure and energy. Since the bones are the densest structure in the body, I work to gently align the bones with the body's energy to enhance the client's physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Using mostly my fingertips, I create fulcrums at joints and areas of blocked energy, allowing the tissues to release around the fulcrum and permit the energy back in.
Here's a video demonstration of how Zero Balancing works to improve the flow of energy in the body:
Qi Therapy/Qigong
Qi (pronounced "chee") is the life force energy that flows throughout our bodies in our acupuncture meridians or channels. Maintaining a balance of qi within our organs and bodies is essential for maintaining our health. When our qi is out of balance, we lack health.
I use light touch on various points along the body to balance the energy in the meridians, moving qi into or out of an area as needed. I may also teach clients specific qigong exercises to enhance their health or increase their range of motion.
